R Clouston Ltd is a building contractors specialising in carpentry and joinery.  The company was established in 1989 by local joiner Robert (Bob) Clouston.  After firmly establishing himself locally as a high quality joiner the demand for work grew.  Steadily increasing the workforce over the years the company now employs a staff of 56.

Finally, alongside local Masons, Electricians and Plumbers, our staff will strive to build your home within a specified period of time. We pride ourselves on providing a quality finish on all our jobs, no matter how big or small.

We recognise that our people are our best asset.  To that end we ensure that our staff  are educated to the highest standard.  Every year we implement a formal training plan to ensure all staff receive adequate training to perform their jobs to the best of their ability.  Having started work in the construction industry with a formal apprenticeship himself, Bob realises the importance of taking on apprentices and training employees.
